Murphy currently plays professionally for Championship club Queens Park Rangers, making his first team debut in 2022 against Preston North End. “Murph” comes with an abundance of knowledge, experience and a light hearted approach to coaching.

We take health and safety serious at Bowman Goalkeeping and we are lucky enough to have Phil on board for our camps to take care of all things medical and to ensure all goalkeepers are well looked after.
Phil qualified from university in Sports Rehabilitation and has since worked at elite football clubs including the academies of Fulham and Reading as well as a couple of seasons working with the Reading Women’s first team in the WSL. From this experience, Phil has had a great insight into football related injuries.
Phil now works primarily with his own business Saunders Sport Performance – where he see’s private clients for injury assessment, diagnosis and treatment, as well as sports massage and gym sessions.
